Get Well Soon

Sophia got the cutest Get Well Soon card from her class after missing a week of school and having to spend a night in the hospital.  We are all feeling so much better so I just had to share this card.  It sure brightened her day!

It says "Sophia, you rest well and come back quickly because,"

"Here we are without you"

"and, here we are with you!"

Each student wrote their own name on the band-aids and glued on googly eyes!!  SO CUTE!!!  Best idea ever!

Hoppy Easter Treat!

Need a really quick, really cute dessert for Easter?  These are super kid friendly although I did these without Sophia and in about 15 minutes.

Start with small white powdered doughnuts, then all you need is...

Stick each marshmallow ear with a toothpick and then stick it in the doughnut, do this first to all of them and place them on the plate before decorating the rest.

Please Donate

April 27th is Daffodil Day!

On Daffodil Day we ask Canadians to take a moment to reflect upon the thousands of people who are living with cancer and to remember those who have died. On this important day we encourage Canadians to do something special for those living with cancer or to contribute in some way to the fight against this disease.

This month, I am selling my Crochet Daffodil Pattern on Etsy (please use link to purchase the pattern).  All profits from this pattern will be donated to a local little girl named Kameryn who is currently battling Lukemia.  She is raising money for her Relay For Life Team.  If you would like to contribute and do not have any use for a crochet pattern, you can also donate through Paypal by clicking on my "Donate" button at the top of this blog.  All money raised on this site throughout the month of April will be donated, so please be generous if you can!

You can follow Kameryn's story on Facebook by following this link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kameryns-Korner/335049286526767

Easter Craft

 Embroidery Floss Easter Eggs

I went in to 'help' my daughters class with this cute Easter craft idea.  She is in Senior Kindergarden and I think they did a great job!  Her teacher found the idea on this site.
I guess they'll pop the ballons at school on Monday but I might have to wait to see the finished product later this week :)
